Doubt isn't the opposite of faith — it's part of it. The disciples doubted. Thomas demanded proof. Jesus didn't shame them. He met them.
60-SEC PRAYER
A prayer for the doubting
Pray it. Or skip it. Or sit in silence.
MARK 9:24
"I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!"
WHY: The most honest prayer in the Bible. Both can be true at once.
JUDE 1:22
"Show mercy to those whose faith is wavering."
WHY: Doubt is a place to be helped, not punished. By God or others.
JOHN 20:27-29
"Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!'"
WHY: Jesus invited evidence. He's not afraid of your questions.
✝ PRAY THIS (OUT LOUD HELPS)
Jesus, I have questions. Big ones. I'm not pretending I don't. Show yourself to me the way you showed yourself to Thomas. Help my unbelief. I want to walk with you — even when I can't see clearly. Amen.
